If you’re new to Birchbox, first make sure to fill out your beauty profile by answering our brief questionnaire. This helps us understand your preferences and what type of products you are interested in!
Please note: customization just recently relaunched for US members with the release of the July Box!
In order to customize your monthly box, please follow the steps below:
- Login to your account https://www.birchbox.com/profile.
- Once logged in, please make sure you are in the ‘Home’ section of your account, where you should see a pink virtual Birchbox.
- Scroll down, and just below this, you will see and can click the “Get Started” button.
- You will be prompted to answer a few questions to help curate your box, or, simply click ‘Skip’ to see a wider selection of products.
- Your box choices will then be curated based on your selections (it takes just a few moments to load).
- Should you like to view the selections curated, and receive the ability to further customize your box by editing, picking, and choosing each selection, simply click the ‘View and Edit My Box’ button.
- You will then be able to view each product chosen. If a product is not to your liking, simply click the ‘Remove’ button to remove it from your box, and then click ‘Add Item’ to choose a new product sample. Please Note: Each monthly beauty box includes six slots of a sample size product (1 slot for each standard sized sample). Travel sized items will be worth 2 slots, meaning you will need to remove two standard samples in order to add a travel size. Full sized items are worth 4 slots, meaning you will need to remove 4 standard samples in order to add a full sized item.
- Once you are done further editing and curating your box, you will be able to review your choices and click the Confirm button for your box selections to be locked in. NOTE: Once locked in, no edits can be requested.
- Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, and prefer not to review the selections, simply click the ‘Surprise Me’ button instead, and our team will send you the box we curated.
You should now be all set! We hope you loved curating your monthly box and we can’t wait to deliver it to your doorstep!
PS. Do not worry if you'd rather not choose, and do not make your custom selections in time — our team will still curate a wonderful box based on your beauty profile.
