Our first priority upon relaunching operations at Birchbox was to have any outstanding order shipped out as quickly as possible, while ensuring the community also had their first new, fresh box of goodies (the June Box). Restarting operations at the fulfillment center took several weeks longer than initially anticipated, due to technical issues that have now been resolved. The good news is we are happy to confirm UK shipments are officially in full swing and orders are shipping.
Due to these unexpected delays, however, we made the decision to skip the July Box for all members in the UK and Ireland, and moved renewals for Monthly Memberships, and monthly billings for Multi-Month Memberships, to mid August*. For pre-paid memberships, please note the July Box will not count as one of the boxes included in the membership. This was done to ensure customers received their June Box, as well as any owed order(s) from fall, prior to being renewed again. We also wanted to focus on delivering a smooth August Box experience, which you can count on moving forward.
*Unfortunately, a small number of memberships were renewed on July 25th, on what would have been the originally scheduled July date. We sincerely apologise for these unintentional early August renewals, and for any alarm this may have caused. Anyone affected should have received an email directly, with additional details. For those charged, please note this charge will now count as the charge for your August Box, and you will receive no further charges in August.
